The recital is on Saturday, April 9th from 2pm to 4pm. Tickets are $11 per person and can be purchased at Opera Southwest Apprentice Recital Please note that you won’t receive an actual ticket but rather your name will be on a will-call list at the door.
The Albuquerque Youth Symphony Program’s Guitar Orchestra Concert which is free to the public will be at Las Puertas on Friday, April 8th 2016 from 7pm to 8pm. Seating is limited.
The Youth Guitar Orchestra (YGO) is a unique classical guitar ensemble that brings together talented and dedicated classical guitar students from across Albuquerque. Students learn a love of the instrument through respect for its traditions, mastery of technique, and an impassioned exposure to its richest and most rewarding repertoire.

Running 505 is a grassroots community wellness program for youth. They collaborate with the community at large to encourage youth to live healthy lifestyles. Running 505 has two programs: Running Girls 505 and Running Guys 505. Each program is designed for youth to learn from, get motivated with, and become inspired through educational lessons and physical activity. Running 505 is designed for youth in the 5th – 8th grades. This program is funded based on community donations. Sponsorships and donations are happily accepted
The Runner’s Ball 2016 will be Friday, April 1st from 6pm to 10pm. There will be music, dancing, raffles and a Silent Auction!

St. Martin’s Hospitality Center will once again hold their Stone Soup Fundraiser at Las Puertas on Saturday, March 5th. A semi-formal event which will be hosted by St. Martin’s Ambassador Bernalillo County Commissioner Debbie O’Malley. The event is from 6:30pm to 9:30pm and will feature Albuquerque’s finest soups provided by Artichoke Cafe, P’Tit Louis Bistro, Marcello’s Chophouse, Soul & Vine, and St. Martin’s Hospitality Center.
