La Familia-Namaste Foster Care Appreciation Luncheon

La Familia-Namaste is hosting their Foster Care Appreciation Luncheon at Las Puertas on Thursday, May 5th.  We are excited to assist this group in thanking the wonderful families and individuals that participate in their Treatment Foster Care Program.

Treatment Foster Care is a community-based treatment modality that focuses on the special needs of children. We recruit, train, license, and supervise professional foster families to care for children with special needs and behavioral challenges in their homes.

La Familia-Namaste provides expert, experienced staff whose purpose is to assist and support the treatment family in meeting the child or youth’s treatment needs. This is accomplished through the establishment of a therapeutic milieu in a home environment, advocacy in the community, and collaboration with therapeutic providers
